Soweto and The Apartheid

Hey Y'all,
David here...
This has got to be a quick one because me and Jeff are going to walk to the movies to see Harry Potter in a min. Today we went to a township called Seweto, theres alot of history behind it, but it was the kicking off point to the end of the Aparthied here in SA. We also went to the Apartheid museum. We witnessed alot of poverty today, and alot of injustice that occred in the past. We saw the cost for standing up in what you believe in. It was eye opening. Jeff and I had a discussion over dinner about how blessed we are and about how thankful we are. God is amazing, we have felt him work in our lives so much within the past year amongst hard ships and trying times God is always there (StonePoint Repin, Shout out to Pastor Scott). We miss all of you and we wont be around for the next few days as we head to Zimbabwe (The Devil's Throat). Keep us in your prayers as we travel. Take care!
P.S. Y'all and us are awesome!

The Saga of Capn. Jack Sparrow and Storm his first mate

Hello All,
David and Jeff here...
We have just returned from our 4 day trip to Kruger NP. It was awesome! You may think the best part was the hippos and elephants wondering through our camp at night, or the 10 species of antelope we saw, or the cheetahs and lions we saw at the cheetah project,or the baby hippos and elephants we saw running around or the giraffes or the numerous amounts of bird we saw, and if you thought all that was the best part, you'd be wrong. The best part was our Guide who went by the name of Edd but was better known as Jack Sparrow, Captain of the white pearl. Jack was awesome because he could drive while, singing a Africaans song and dancing with out ever missing a word, smoking a cigarette in one hand, playing air guitar, passing semi trucks on uphill curves, flicking people off, wearing a wool jacket, black crocs, a bandana with dreads underneath and a neck covered in bead necklaces a great smile behind a scraggly beard, a shirt that said "I'm a Slut" and almost never getting pulled over. He has stories that will both amaze and frighten, and could be the chef of a five star gourmet restraunt. His first mate went by the name of Storm, and was the craziest and worst driver you ever laid eyes on. He had long hair, crazy surfer sunglasses, and would pass elephants and Impala on dirt roads going 80 MPH when they were inches from the van.
We camped the whole time and went on several day game drives, one freezing cold night game drive, and a river game cruise. It was so awesome. We had a great group of people with us and had a blast.
We leave for 11 days of overlanding on the 18th, then we get to Vic Falls on the 28th, we leave for Hwange NP for 3 day safari on the 30th, return to Vic falls walk over to Zambia side of the falls on leave the following morning for a 7 day tour through the Okavango delta and return to JoBurg on the 9th.
We are then gonna try and go down the coast to partake in the highest bungee jump on the planet, which is near the coast in South Africa.
We miss all of you very much! We are having a great time together and really could not have been asked to be blessed more along the trip so far. Please keep us in your prayers, and we look forward to sharing lots of pics when we get home.
P.S. Jeffrey is starting to talk like an Ausi!

Hey All,
David here...
So we just got into Jo-burg. Couldn't see much of the city as it is night right now. Its also like 50 degrees outside and me and jeff are staying in this little hut with no heat. But we got our mummy bags to stay warm in. I'm outside in a il hut typing this right now and my hands are going numb. I didn't expect it to be qutie this cold.
The plane ride sucked really bad. We were traveling for more than a day, with 18hrs straight which sucks. But we got to watch alot of movies.
Tomorrow were going to get some supplies and try and book a tour to Kruger or somewhere else. We'll see what happens. I think we are going to have a good time though.
So it hit us in the shuttle on the way to the hostel that we are in Africa! Crazy!
The hostel is an old plantation house, its really wierd looking and odly spaced out, and we have this mideval key to our door which is wierd.
Alright I'm gonna roll but i'll post again soon.
Miss all of you!
